The Error: Outlook 2007 hangs at splash screen when attempting to run normally, but it will open when ran in Outlook safe mode.

Reson : This might be due to a problem with Outlook and Windows Search.

The Solution :

1. Start -> Run -> services.msc (Type) and press enter.

2. Select any of the service and press the key 'W' and scroll nearly to the bottom of the list and highlight Windows Search.

3. Right click and select properties.

4. Change the Startup Type to “Disabled”.

5. Reboot the system.

6. Start Outlook as normal. If the you are prompted again for running in Safe Mode select No and see if Outlook runs as normal
